How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.
At other times, they wildly fly
Until the nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.

Gorgeous photographs, I love how you captured the beauty of nature through leafs. They will be forever treasured and the poem is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Have a happy weekend :)
Lovely photos and thoughts: wish Autumn (Fall - depending on where one is commenting from!) was not so fleeting, as the colours are so gorgeous.
Just dropped by via the Etsy Seller Success Forum, as I'm currently unashamedly looking for more Followers on my blog (and hopefully visitors to my shop as a result!) You can find us all at www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com. We'd love to see you there. Meanwhile, all the best! Isobel
