Color Mixing: Complementary Colors


Mixing complementary colors— colors that appear opposite each other on the color wheel such as 
red and green, purple and yellow, blue and orange— create a variety of  browns.

My kids were experts at making browns when they were in preschool! We have tons of muddy art to prove it.
